Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Copyright and Intellectual Property Notice

Authors submitting their manuscripts for publication in the Journal of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / Al-Muthanna University are required to agree to the following terms:

  1. Retention of Copyright: Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication. The work is simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows others to share, copy, and use the work for any purpose, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the initial publication in this journal is acknowledged.

  2. Non-Exclusive Distribution: Authors are permitted and encouraged to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., posting it to an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with an explicit acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.

  3. Originality of the Manuscript: Authors declare that the submitted manuscript is original, has not been published previously in whole or in part, and is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
