This study examines the role of international and regional organizations in combating terrorism, a complex threat to global security. It focuses on mechanisms such as security cooperation, intelligence sharing, and joint operations, alongside developmental efforts addressing root causes like poverty and social exclusion. Despite challenges like political disagreements, funding shortages, and legal conflicts, regional organizations play a vital role by providing solutions tailored to local contexts. The study concludes that their success depends on integrating security and development strategies, building trust among member states, and adopting comprehensive policies that address the ideological and social dimensions of terroris
