Today, humanity faces the problems and challenges of the modern era, as terrorism and extremism do not arise by chance but have underlying reasons and motivations. Understanding these causes is of utmost importance because accurate diagnosis is the path to successful treatment. There can be no treatment without diagnosis, and no diagnosis without understanding the causes. These causes and motivations have led to the emergence and spread of misguided ideologies, which may stem from psychological, political, intellectual, or social factors. Ideological extremism is the adherence to rigid ideas and beliefs that go beyond the bounds of moderation and tolerance, leading to the rejection of others, fanaticism, and the use of violence as a means to achieve goals.
